Yes, yes I realize that Easter has come and gone. I have so many pretty colorful pictures of Easter candy, I can’t but show them off! These were an especially fun find, as they were tasty and colorful. Plus, they were more opaque than normal DOTS, so they felt more flavorful. The blueberry DOT, a newcomer here, was the best by far.
Rakugan is a type of special Wagashi (Japanese Confection) that’s made using pressed sugar in wooden molds. These were sent by a friend of mine who lives in Kyoto. Aren’t they pretty?
I realized a bit too late that I didn’t have a post for today. So sorry! To make up for it I’ll post some nice “eye candy”, or photos of candy that I’ve had but I’ve lost my tasting notes/they’re no longer available/ it’s been too long since I ate them to give a proper review. Sometimes it’s all about looking.
