This is the original packaging for Chuao’s Chocopods. This is the Maya variety, with the chili in it. I do believe this bar is the first chocolate bar with chili in i that I ever tasted. I liked it. Man, that seems like ages ago now….

I was in New York City for a short weekend back in May. It made me think back to all the chocolatiers I love so much. Christopher Norman, you’re first on my list (second is Marie Belle).

A few years ago M&Ms tried to make a premium line. These cost more and came in “fancy” flavors and colors. You can see these are mocha and have these pretty iridescent shell.

I like Nik L Nip’s colorful packaging. Sadly I wish I could say the same for liking the actual candy!
