This bar had me laughing in the store. It’s so very serious looking for a candy bar, and therefore, came across as silly to me. The packaging is very classic looking, with a 1930’s styled lady on the front and the intense font. The bar is all in Polish so I can’t read a word of it, but it’s still pretty to look at. My best guess is that it’s a chocolate bar of some sort, and it’s trying to appear luxurious. I can’t help but wonder what it tasted like, so I decided to give it a go.
The bar is indeed chocolate, and once unwrapped it’s sectioned off into four squares. The chocolate is soft and has no sound to it when I break off a piece. When I do, I find a cream like center in it, that’s the same color as the chocolate. Very interesting.
The flavor is a mix of the milk chocolate, which is sweet with notes of cocoa and malt, and the center, which is a light chocolate/hazelnut paste. The texture is smooth with little crispy bits, and overall it’s very sweet, but satisfying.
Overall, it’s tasty, but it didn’t stand out as anything special. I’d say my favorite part of this bar is the packaging, as it’s just so funny to me.
