Lifesavers Gummies Bunnies & Eggs Bag

I was excited to see these new Lifesavers Gummies Bunnies & Eggs on the candy shelves for Easter. They looked part gummi, part fruit snack and since I’m a fan of both, even though I’m not sure if I consider fruits snacks to be a candy or not, I picked these up to try them. The bag is interesting, the color are vibrant, almost overly so. The cartoon bunny is a little odd, as he looks crazy. Spring fever I guess.

I was happy to see that once opened, these gummies are small and opaque in color, much unlike the regular Lifesavers gummies, which, I’m not the biggest fan of. They come in shapes of bunnies, bunnies coming out of eggs, and eggs. The details are nice for something so small in size. The aroma from the bag is fruity, with a slight sour note.

Lifesavers Gummies Bunnies & Eggs

Lemon (yellow): This one tastes just like the lemon Lifesavers. It has very sharp lemon flavor with a strong sourness to it. I love it.

Apple (green): This smells of iced tea. flavors stars off sweet, then grows into a jolly rancher apple flavors that’s very floral and fake. It has a tartness to it like a granny smith.

Orange (orange): This one also tastes just like the orange Lifesaver. It’s very citrusy with a good tart kick to it.

Tangy Cherry (pink): Tastes sweet and mild at first, light flavors that remind me of berry. There’s a bitter edge to it, but overall it’s a pleasant mind cherry.

Tangy Punch (blue): Sweet at first then grows into a great Hawaiian punch like flavor. I’m a fan!

Watermelon (red): Immediately fake and extremely floral tasting, exactly like the watermelon Jolly Ranchers. Yuck.

In the end, these didn’t really do much for me, as I only really enjoyed three of the flavors. But, I can say that my boyfriend absolutely adored them, and the bag disappeared before the afternoon was out.
